Grid Solutions’ first SF₆-free alternative was revealed in 2014. Since then, a clear product development roadmap was shared, some products became SF₆-free and the EU has been co-funding a few developments to speed up grid decarbonization and the energy transition.
Apps
Through these apps, you will have the ability to calculate the GWP impact of your substation or explore the SF₆-free solutions developed in the frame of our EU LIFE projects.
Our project apps are currently under development. However, you can play with the g³ Explorer app to calculate the GWP reduction of a high voltage substation using g³ gas instead of SF₆.
